Registration for SOAR Camp is now open!  Click here to register.  SOAR Camp is our fun-filled, six-week summer camp.   Preschool Camp is available for current preschoolers (must be 3-years old by June 1) and Junior & Senior Camp is available for students who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade. 


Some of the exciting activities we have planned this year include: themed weeks, dress-up days, inflatable water slides, themed slides, archery, obstacle courses, arts and crafts, Mind Games, drama, movies, Lego room, cooking classes, playground time, and the fun goes on.  We will have devotions each day and Chapel is on Thursdays.

SRCS is dedicated to protecting the health and safety of everyone in our community during this coronavirus crisis.  As a result, there will be no off-campus field trips.  

Week 1 – June 13 – 17, 2022: Cruise Into the Caribbean
Ahoy Matey! Cruise into summer on week one of SOAR camp! Enjoy a taste of the tropics as we enjoy a multitude of summer activities.
 
Week 2 -June 20 - 24, 2022: The Amazing Race

 

Week 3 – June 27 – July 1, 2022: Stars and Stripes
O say can you see…all the fun this week will bring, as we celebrate the great Red, White and Blue! United we stand.
 
Week 4 – July 5 – 8, 2022: Meet Me at the Circus (no camp July 4, in observance of Independence Day)
Get ready for the Big Top! Enjoy our themed bounce house, Candyland water slide, popcorn and cotton candy! Yum!
 
Week 5 – July 11 – 15, 2022: Winter in July
Enjoy a Winter Wonderland as we celebrate Christmas in July with a Holiday bounce house, a snow cannon, hot chocolate, “snowballs” and more.
 
Week 6 – July 18 – 22, 2022: Dramatic Fanatics
Lights, camera, action! Dress up as your favorite movie character; Disney, Superheroes, Star Wars, you decide!

General Camp Info

  • Camp Sessions: June 13 through July 22. There is no camp on Monday, July 4th .

  • Camp runs Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

  • Early Bird and Aftercare are available for an additional charge.

  • SOAR is not equipped for children with special needs.

  • Lunch is included with camp tuition.

  • All campers will need to bring 2 snacks and drinks each day

SOAR Schedule of Fees

A non-refundable enrollment fee of $50 per child, along with full tuition payment, is due with your completed SOAR registration form.  All forms must be completed before your child may attend camp.  Space is limited and will be on a first come, first served basis.  You don’t want your child to miss out on this wonderful summer experience! 

Tuition and Fees

  • 10% tuition discount on your second and third child’s tuition.
  • Half Day-Full Week (Available to Preschool camp only) 8:30 am – noon $175.00/week+
  • Full Day-Full Week (Includes lunch) 8:30 am – 3:30 pm $300.00/week+
  • Early Bird* 7:30 am – 8:15 am, $4.25/day
  • Aftercare* 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm $10.80/day
  • **July 5-8, 2022 Camp Fees ($240 Full Day/$140 Half Day).  No camp on Monday, July 4th**.
  • **Children using Early Bird or Aftercare programs who are not SRCS students enrolled during the 2022-2023 school year must provide a credit card as a deposit for fees.
  • Early Bird is available from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m. for a charge of $4.25/day per child. 
  • Aftercare is available from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. for a charge of $10.80 per child.  Aftercare ends promptly at 5:30.  Campers not picked up by 5:30 will be charged a late fee of $6.00.  After 5:45, an additional charge of $1.00/minute will be assessed. 

Cancellation Policy

Notification of cancellation at least 14 days prior to your child’s scheduled week(s) at camp will result in a full refund of the tuition (not including enrollment fee).  No refund will be given if cancellation is received fewer than 14 days in advance of the start of the scheduled week of camp.  However, camp tuition may be applied to another weekly session, subject to availability, if notification is received within one week of the start of the scheduled camp session.  Please check the website at SpanishRiverChristianSchool.com/summer for updated camp information.

Field Trips

Since there will be no off-campus field trips, we will instead have special weekly attractions; inflatable obstacle courses & bounce houses, themed water slides, Mind Games (fun and educational), themed dress up days and more.  We have also added new activities like Drama and Fit Kids Boot Camp.

Preschool Camp

Preschool: Ages 3 years old (by June 1st) – 4 years old

Preschool campers are divided into groups and follow a set schedule each day.  Activities include arts and crafts, games, gym, devotions, weekly outdoor water activities and special events/themes.  Please note: Any child in Preschool who IS NOT CURRENTLY ENROLLED AT SRCS, MUST provide immunization records and a birth certificate BEFORE they can attend camp!  Due to state and county regulations, all 3-5-yr. old campers must provide documentation of their health and immunization status.  Ask your physician to provide you with Form 680 and Form 3040.  These documents will be returned to you at the end of camp.  Your child’s health records are very important and therefore if your child is not immunized they will not be allowed to attend camp.  All Preschool campers must be fully potty trained – no pull-ups allowed.  

Junior Camp

Grades K&1 and Grades 2&3 (Just completed)

Junior campers will participate in many on-campus activities including weekly outdoor water activities, archery, art, drama, game room, sports, devotions, and different weekly special events/themes.  Please note: Any child in Kindergarten who IS NOT CURRENTLY ENROLLED AT SRCS, MUST provide immunization records and a birth certificate BEFORE they can attend camp! Camp runs from 8:30 a.m.– 3:30 p.m. Doors open at 8:15 a.m. for check-in. Early drop-off is available at 7:30 a.m. for an additional cost. 

Yes, Aftercare is available from 3:45-5:30 for an additional charge. 

Preschool (ages 3-5) will be dropped off at Building F, on the southeast side of the campus.

Junior and Senior campers (K-6) will be dropped off at the Gymnasium on the northeast side of the campus.

Campers arriving past check-in time must report to the Camp Office (Bldg. F, north side of the campus). 

Preschool (ages 3-5) will be picked up at Building F, where they were dropped off.

Junior and Senior campers (K-6) who do not have a sibling in Preschool camp will be picked up at the Gym, where they were dropped off.

Junior and Senior (K-6 grade) campers who have a younger sibling in preschool, will be brought over to the Preschool camp building for dismissal.

Any camper not picked up by 3:45 will go to Aftercare and a fee will be assessed. 

Junior and Senior campers should bring a morning and afternoon snack. Lunch is included in our camp tuition.

Preschool campers who attend camp for ½ day, should bring a morning snack and drink. 

All campers should bring extra water. 

Children should dress appropriately to participate in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. Tennis shoes and socks are required. No sandals, platform shoes of any kind, open-heeled or open-toed shoes or roller shoes are permitted. Shorts must not be more than 4 inches above the knee. No tops with spaghetti straps or halter tops are allowed. For safety reasons no jewelry is permitted. On water days one-piece bathing suits are required for all girls.
