Growing Christian Leaders
"For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control."
2 Timothy 1:7
At Spanish River Christian School, we seek to prepare students to live a Christian life in a contemporary society. We strive to develop a desire in children to study God's Word and to apply Scriptures to their daily lives. Daily Bible classes, chapel programs, and various other programs help equip students with a Biblical worldview that allows them to develop spiritually, socially, and academically and prepares them to live out their calling as the “light of the world” in high school and beyond.
Students have a wide variety of opportunities for Christian leadership ranging from classroom leadership positions in elementary school to National Junior Honor Society, study hall mentorship, student assistant, Student Council, and athletic team captainship in middle school.
We believe that God hears us when we pray. Every year on the National Day Of Prayer, we set aside time for a school-wide Prayer Walk around our campus, during which students pray for our school community, our local and national leaders, individual friends and family, and other people and places in the world.
